National Institute of Science and Education Research (NISER) has released the admit card of National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2021 exam on its official website nestexam.in. NEST 2021 will be conducted on August 14, 2021. The candidates who have applied for the NEST 2021 exam can download their admit card from the official website through their login credentials till the exam date.
To download the NEST 2021 admit card, candidates have to follow below steps:
- First of all, candidates have to visit the official website nestexam.in.
- After visiting the official website, candidates have to click on the “Download Admit Card” link present on the homepage.
- Upon clicking this link, a new page will open where candidates have to enter their user id and password under the “Candidate Login” window.
- After entering these details, candidates have to click on the “Login” button to download the NEST 2021 admit card.
Candidates should make sure that all the information on the admit card is correct. After that, they can download it and can take its hard copy or also they can save its soft copy.
On August 14, 2021, the NEST 2021 exam will be held in two sessions. The first session will begin from 09:00 am and will end at 12:30 pm whereas the second session of the exam will begin at 02:30 pm and end at 6:00 pm. Candidates will be given any of the slots, out of the two mentioned here.
NEST 2021 is going to be an online Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam will be held across the 90 exam centres in India. The exam centres will be allotted to the candidates as per their choices which they have filled during the application process. The exam consists of four different sections i.e Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. From each section, the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked. Each section is going to be of 50 marks.
While preparing the merit list, the organising body will consider the marks of the three sections in which candidates have performed well. NISER will release the merit list of the NEST 2021 exam on September 01, 2021, on its official website nestexam.in. Upon passing the NEST 2021 exam, candidates can get admission to different undergraduate courses in Science at NISER, Bhubaneshwar, and at the Center of Excellence in Basic Sciences, Mumbai.
