The Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) is expected to release the Bihar B.Ed CET admit card today on the official website i.e. bihar-cetbed-lnmu.in. The examination has been postponed to August 13, 2021, and will be conducted from 11 AM to 01 PM in a two-hour slot. The entrance exam was earlier scheduled for July 11, 2021, however, it was later postponed citing some unavoidable circumstances as mentioned by the University. The reason for postponing the exam is coming out to be its clash with the JNVST. However, the LNMU has then released a notice with rescheduled dates according to which, the new date for releasing the admit card is August 04, 2021. The candidates who are awaiting their admit card of Bihar B.ed CET can keep a tab on the official website for the latest updates.
The examination will be conducted across 11 centres of the state. The candidates who have successfully registered for the examination should cross-check their admit cards for relevant details regarding the venue of the exam centres and reporting time etc.
The Bihar B.Ed CET will be a two hours duration offline exam consisting of 120 multiple-choice questions from General English, General awareness, Teaching-learning Environment in schools, General Sanskrit, General Hindi and Logical and Analytical Reasoning. Each question will account for 1 mark in the examination. While there will be no provision of negative marking in the examination.
The qualifying marks for the General candidates are 35% marks while for the SC, ST, BC, EBC, WBC, and Divyang candidates, the qualifying marks is 30% of the total marks. The examination will be conducted in the Offline mode i.e. the candidates will be required to mark the correct answer in the OMR sheet using the blue or black pen only.
The candidates who successfully clear the Bihar B.Ed CET will get the opportunity to get admission in 14 B.ED Colleges in Bihar. The candidates will be called to appear in the counselling round with all the relevant documents and admission in the B.ED programme will be offered on the basis of merit.
