NEET UG 2nd Round Counselling 2021

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will start the registration process for the NEET UG 2nd round counselling 2021 from today, i.e. February 15, 2022. As per the counselling schedule, candidates will be able to complete the registration process and submit the required fee up to February 21, 2022. However, it must be noted that the payment facility is going to be available up to 3 PM on the same day. Candidates have to complete the registration process via the official website mcc.nic.in.

Who can register?

MCC is conducting the counselling process for admitting students to medical courses like MBBS, BDS and B.Sc. Nursing. However, not all candidates are eligible for the second round of the counselling process. In this round of seat allotment, candidates who have become non-eligible due to inadequate documents will not be able to apply. Similarly, the ones who have not registered in the first round and will not register in the second round are not going to be eligible for seat allotment.

What happens is that in the NEET UG 2nd round counselling 2021, fresh set of seats gets added. Candidates participating in this round as well as the mop-up round are required to submit fresh choices via the online window. As such, the choices which have been filled during the first round of counselling will stand null and void. Medical aspirants have to submit fresh choices during the choice filling period and also lock the same during the period of locking.

Those candidates who will fail to submit fresh choices are not going to be considered for subsequent rounds of counselling. Candidates who have registered in the first round of counselling but have not secured any seat can participate in the NEET UG 2nd round counselling 2021. However, they need not register again.

How to Register?

As mentioned already, the registration process will be done via mcc.nic.in. To know how to fill up the registration form, here are the steps that one can follow.

Step 1- Visit the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in
