National Testing Agency has announced the NEET SS (Super Speciality) 2021 information brochure on the official website, natboard.edu.in. The online application for the NEET SS commences from September 14, 2021, to October 04, 2021. The edit window for the application form will begin from October 08 to October 14, 2021. The NEET SS Admit Card 2021 is expected to be available from November 05, 2021.
The NEET SS exam is going to be held on November 13 and November 14, 2021, from 7 am to 7 pm. The final result for the exam will be released on November 30, 2021, and the new session will begin on January 01, 2022.
According to the eligibility criteria, the candidate should possess a Postgraduate Medical Degree or Provisional Pass Certificate in MD/MS/DNB in or an equivalent recognized medical college. The candidates applying for the exam need to choose the subject group that is best suited for them on the basis of their last qualifying exam.
The candidates need to fill the NEET SS Application form 2021 on the official portal of the NBE. The steps mentioned in the space below will be helpful in filling the NEET SS application form:
Step 1: Visit the official portal of the NBE, natboard.edu.in.
Step 2: On the portal’s homepage click on Apply now and proceed further.
Step 3: Thereafter, register the candidates by filling in the details asked. Post this, generate the user id and password.
Step 4: After successful registration, candidates need to log in with the relevant details i.e. personal details, academic details, choosing test group papers, test city, etc. next, they need to upload their photograph, signature, thumb impression in the prescribed limit.
Step 5: Thereafter, candidates need to pay the registration fee equivalent to Rs 4250 per group on the portal via an online payment channel. After verification of all the details, candidates can submit the application form and take a printout for the same.
The prescribed size limit for a candidate’s photograph and thumb impression is 10- 80 kb. While the same for candidate’s signature is 20kb-100kb.
The NEET SS is an online-based exam held for a duration of 2.5 hours. There will be 150 questions based on the specialty the candidate has opted for. Each correct answer will fetch 4 marks while for each wrong answer there will be a deduction of 1 mark. The candidates successful in scoring marks equivalent to the prescribed cut-off will stand a chance to appear in the counselling process.
