Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Pondicherry is inviting online admission applications for PG Dental courses. The notice and prospectus for the same have been published on the official website centacpuducherry.in. According to them, online applications shall be accepted from May 12, 2021 to June 07, 2021. The admission process is applicable to all seats including government, All India (Management Quota) and NRI. The PG Dental 2021 admission brochure was made available on the official website yesterday. Candidates are further advised to read the brochure carefully before filling the application.
The CENTAC PG MDS admission 2021 process is a welcome step, for the thousands of candidates who have been waiting for post result processes to begin.
It may be noted that that for this, the last date to apply online is May 28, 2021. Furthermore, the deadline to submit the application form is June 07, 2021. The application form can only be filled and submitted through the online mode on the official website centacpuducherry.in. No offline sources shall be permitted for the application process. While filling-up the application form, it is mandatory for candidates to enter their mobile number, email Id and upload their latest colour photograph.
Interested and eligible candidates must login to the official website and fill all the details in the application form along with the course preferences. Only after paying the application fee and getting a confirmation, candidates shall be allowed to enter their course preferences. However, without preferences, the application shall be deemed incomplete and shall be rejected.
Along with filling the application form, candidates are also required to upload photocopies of certain important documents. These documents include NEET PG (MDS) score card, Residence certificate (those applying for government quota seats), reservation certificate (if applicable). Original copies of the above-mentioned documents must be produced for document-verification at the respective college.
All documents have to be uploaded in the format and dimensions specified by the CENTAC authorities. Furthermore, the candidate’s photograph must be uploaded in the JPEG format. Any overwriting in the prescribed documents shall not be accepted during the application process.
CENTAC authorities have also mentioned the eligibility criteria which the candidates have to fulfil so apply for the admission process. Candidates wishing to seek admission for PG Dental Courses must have Indian citizenship and should have qualified the NEET MDS 2021 examination organised by the National Board of Education (NBE).
Additionally, they should have passed their BDS examination from any recognised university. Candidates must have also completed their Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) by March 31, 2021. Besides the mentioned eligibility criteria, there is an important prerequisite for candidates claiming Government Quota seats. Such students must be residents of the Union Territory (UT) of Puducherry and must provide the residence certificate issued by the concerned authorities. Only then will they be eligible to apply for government quota.
