JEE Main 2021 and NEET 2021 dates are expected to be out soon. As per the reports, the education ministry is expected to announce the dates of the pending Joint Entrance Examination Main 2021 and  National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2021 exams in a few days. The decision will clear the air on whether NEET 2021 will be held on August 01, 2021, or not, and also the dates of the remaining JEE Main attempts.

JEE Main 2021 3rd and 4th attempts are left. For the 3rd attempt, the application process is over, based on the new dates registered candidates will be issued the admit card. However, for NEET 2021, the application process is yet to start. However, if the exams are decided to be held in August or later, will there be a 3rd wave of Covid-19 pandemic by then in the nation? What should the students expect?

The students must not expect any further delay

As Covid-19 cases are on a downward trend, experts believe that JEE Main 2021 exams are expected to be conducted in the third week of July or the second week of August. The 3rd wave of the pandemic is likely to hit in September – October as per some experts.

Therefore, before the 3rd wave hits the nation, it is expected that the exams will be over. Therefore candidates must prepare accordingly. If we go by the trend, last year both these exams took place in the middle of the first wave. Therefore, it is likely that we can expect the remaining two rounds of JEE Main and NEET UG 2021 to take place now that the cases are declining.

Be prepared to take the exam with all precautions

The Union government and NTA had issued Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to conduct examinations amid the pandemic last year. The same will be applicable this year which will include alternate seating plans, fewer candidates per room, and staggered entry and exit, etc.

The students must be prepared to follow the same rules this time too. The second wave might be calming, but we are also at a risk of an upcoming thirds wave of the pandemic. Hence all SOPs must be maintained to complete the 2 national level exams successfully.

The recent RTI reply by NTA confirmed that the National Testing Agency is indeed leaning towards postponing the NEET exam from August 01, 2021.

Start full-fledged preparations

In short, students must be prepared to take JEE Main 2021 exam and NEET 2021 exam in the upcoming months. Whether there is a pandemic or not, it is important to practice all the SOPs. Students should start preparing for the exam. Do revisions, take mock tests, and practice the previous years’ question papers. This might just be the final month left before the exams start.
