NEET 2021 Result Announced

After much wait and anticipation, National Testing Agency (NTA) has finally announced the NEET 2021 results today, November 01, 2021. NTA first announced the result via e-mail. However, now it has also been uploaded on the official website, which is neet.nta.nic.in. The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 was conducted across the country on September 12, 2021. All those who appeared for the exam can check their results on neet.nta.nic.in or at their e-mails.

This year, in an unprecedented turn of events, a total of 16.14 lakh candidates registered for the NEET 2021 examination. Although the results were expected sooner, in the first or second week of October 2021, they were delayed owing to multiple reasons. These include controversies, court cases, and of course, the two-phase NEET registration process. However, the wait is finally over for those who are dreaming to pursue a promising career in the field of medicine.

To access their NEET 2021 results, candidates can either use the direct link or follow a sequence of steps on the official portal.

Candidates can use the steps given below to check their NEET 2021 rank and marks obtained –

Step 1: Visit the official website of NEET 2021 i.e., neet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage of the website, click on the tab displaying the words “View Result (server II)”.

Step 3: By doing so, a new page will open asking for credentials. These include Application Number, Date of Birth, Security Pin, etc. Enter the credentials along with the security code displayed on the screen.

Step 4: Submit these credentials to access the scorecard.

Step 5: Download or take a printout of the scorecard for future reference or use.

Along with the scorecard, NTA has also released the NEET 2021 final answer key on the same portal. Candidates can take a look at the final answer key and compare it with their answers to see where they went wrong. There’s still time for the counselling session to begin. Hence, the candidates who have decided to appear for NEET 2022 can do this to understand the areas where they were lacking.

NEET 2021 scorecard comprises important details such as candidate’s name, roll number, category, parent’s name, score obtained in the entrance exam, rank obtained, overall percentile obtained, percentile obtained in each subject, category-wise cut-offs, etc. Candidates are advised to check their scorecard carefully and look for any inaccuracies or mistakes. Although the chances of any mistake happening are low, there is still a 01.% possibility. In case of any mistakes found in the scorecard, candidates must not waste any time and communicate the mistake to the NTA via email or call.

Congratulations to all candidates who have passed NEET 2021 with flying colours!
