The notice was published on the official website ntaneet.nic.in. As per the notice, authorities have decided to add Dubai to the list of exam cities along with Kuwait. This is to facilitate and encourage Indian students living in the Middle East to appear for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2021. The entrance exam is going to be held on September 12, 2021, in the OMR-based offline mode.

According to the official notice published by NTA, NEET 2021 aspirants have been informed to apply for the entrance exam from July 13 to August 06, 2021. The registration process is currently, being conducted through the online mode on the official website ntaneet.nic.in. To encourage the Indian students living in the Middle East to apply and appear for the medical entrance exam authorities have added two Middle-East cities to the list.

Interested and eligible candidates who wish to appear for NEET (UG) 2021 with Dubai as their exam city can apply for the same from today, July 23, 2021, 5:00 pm onwards. The registration process for such students will end on the same date as regular students i.e., August 06, 2021, at 11:50 pm. Thereafter, they can pay the required application fee on or before August 07, 2021, up to 11:50 pm. All these registration formalities must be completed to the official website ntaneet.nic.in.

NTA in their official notice, has also addressed students who have already completed their NEET 2021 registration process. In case such students wish to change their “Choice of City for Exam Centre” to Dubai, then they can do so from August 08 to 12, 2021. This is the correction period which shall be given by NTA to make changes in the application form. For other required information and queries, candidates must refer to the information bulletin made available on the official website.

According to the NEET 2021 information bulletin, all candidates living outside India must pay Rs.7,500 as application fee. These charges are irrespective of the category to which the candidate belongs. Furthermore, the specified amount does not include the processing charges as well as GST. These charges will depend on the individual transaction carried out by each candidate.

Last year, a total of 15.97 lakh students successfully registered for the NEET 2020 exam. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, 85-90% of candidates appeared for the exam at various centres across the country. This year, the number of registered candidates might remain the same but the attendance is likely to increase.
