National Testing Agency (NTA) releasing a public notice has extended the last date of the NEET-UG 2021 application form to August 10, 2021. The decision is taken after due consultations with the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and the University of Delhi. The aspiring candidates now can fill their NEET 2021 application form for another 4 days i.e. till August 10. Earlier, the last date for application was August 06.
In addition, the nodal agency has also decided to open the NEET UG 2021 correction window from August 11 to 14, 2021 up to 02:00 pm. This facility will allow the applicants to make suitable corrections in the permissible fields of their application forms. The process of application correction will take place online at neet.nta.nic.in.
Based on the public notice, the NEET (UG)- 2021 result now can also be utilized for B.Sc (Hons) Nursing courses by entities of central and state governments, in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria, norms, regulations, and rules.
In this row, a specific request was made from the University of Delhi (DU) for including its affiliated Nursing Colleges in the list of participating institutions of NEET (UG) 2021. With the inclusion, it has become clear that Delhi University is eying to utilize the NEET 2021 score for the students seeking admission in B.Sc (Hons) course. Such candidates have to register for NEET-UG 2021 as well as for DU Admissions 2021-22.

Earlier, in order to facilitate the opportunity to the Indian students based in the middle-east countries, in NEET-UG 2021, National Testing Agency added Dubai and Kuwait City as the NEET 2021 examination cities. Candidates opting for these cities are also eligible to submit their applications at the common portal- neet.nta.nic.in.
Once the application correction window closes, NTA will issue the NEET 2021 admit cards of candidates found eligible. The admit card authorizes candidates to appear in the national-level entrance test.
NEET UG 2021 examination is scheduled for September 12, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at centres across India and abroad. According to the schedule, entry at the examination centre will not be allowed after 1:30 pm, hence applicants have to reach their examination centre on or before 01:30 pm on the day of examination.
This is for the first time when NEET 2021 question paper will be drafted in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, and Punjab. Candidates qualifying NEET (UG)–2021 would be eligible for admission on seats under All India Quota (AIQ) and other quotas under the state governments/ institutes.
