Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct NEET exam on May 6, 2018. More than 10 lakh students are reported to have applied: all are now looking forward to download NEET 2018 admit card. While there are many reported suggestions on release date, actually CBSE has stated that it will issue hall ticket on any one date in second week of April.

Candidates are advised to not panic about it. CBSE will definitely release hall tickets this week. Last year exam was on May 7 and admit card was released on April 15. Following that timeline, since exam is on May 6 this year, therefore admit card is likely to be issued on April 14.

While NEET 2018 admit card is critical for the exam: since it allows a student to enter exam hall and sit for exam, the bigger reason why candidates want to get it sooner is because they want to see where they have got exam centre.

This year, NEET exam is being conducted in 150 cities in India. Last year, exam was organized in only 103 cities. And even before that, there used to be around 53 cities only for exam.

Exam centre once assigned in admit card cannot be changed. Hence students wish to know their exam centre soon and know whether they have to make travel arrangements or not to reach assigned centre. However, there are higher chances of getting centre in first city of choice.

As soon as admit card gets issued, candidates will be able to download it from official website cbseneet.nic.in. On reaching the website, you can see a main menu, then about the NEET exam, then four divisions of online services. They are titled as online services, downloads, information, help. Link to download admit card is likely to come either under online services or downloads.

Locate admit card download link at cbseneet.nic.in and click on it. It takes you to login page. Here, type in registration number in first field and password in second field. Click login button then. This leads up to soft copy of admit card which can be now downloaded and printed.

CBSE NEET UG 2018 is the national level medical entrance exam. It was introduced to have a single common medical entrance exam for all colleges in India. Now, all MCI and DCI approved colleges accept only NEET exam scores for MBBS and BDS admissions. AIIMS entrance exam and JIPMER entrance exam are only two other medical entrance exams in India.

In NEET exam, there will be forty five questions each in physics and chemistry, and ninety questions in biology. It is a pen and paper based exam of 720 marks. There is negative marking of 1 mark for every wrong answer.

Exam will be held in english, hindi, assamese, Bengali, gujarati, kannada, Marathi, oriya, tamil, telugu, urdu. Questions in all languages shall be same.

If you are appearing for NEET 2018 and have any concerns on its admit card, share them with us. Focus on last minute revision now. Best of luck!
