Northern Coalfields Limited, a Mini Ratna Company, is recruiting candidates for the supervisory and technician positions. An official notification with Reference: NCL/HQ/PD/Manpower/DR/2020-21/ 466 is released recently on nclcil.in. Applications are invited to fill up the 512 vacant posts of Assistant Foreman (Mech.)/E&T (Tr.), Technician Fitter/ Electrician/ Turner/ Machinist/ Welder (Tr.). Aspirants interested in the recruitment can submit their forms on or before the last date i.e. August 25, 2020.
NCL has announced the following posts under this recruitment, Assistant Foreman (E&T) (Trainee) Grade C, Assistant Foreman (Mechanical) (Trainee) Grade C, Technician Fitter (Trainee) Cat. III, Technician Electrician (Trainee) Cat. III, Technician Turner (Trainee) Cat. III, Technician Machinist (Trainee) Cat. III and Technician Welder (Trainee) Cat. II. Aspirants recruited under these posts are posted across different Mines/ Establishment of NCL in Singrauli District of Madhya Pradesh and Sonebhadra District of Uttar Pradesh. Also, candidates have to undergo one year training under the cadre they are appointed under.
To apply for Supervisory posts, candidates must have passed 10th standard or equivalent examination. Moreover, they must have a diploma and a 03 years course in Mechanical Engineering. For Technician positions, candidates should have passed 10th class and have 02 years ITI course in the concerned trade. In addition, they must possess a trade certificate issued by NCVT/ SCVT and have a minimum of 01 years of Apprenticeship Training Certificate issued by NCVT/ SCVT. Candidates are advised to go through the official notification to know about the relevant and higher education of Diploma for Supervisory posts.
Candidates must have attained the minimum age limit of 18 years as on the last date of application submission. Their upper age should not exceed the upper age limit of 30 years. Age relaxation of the maximum age limit is permissible as per the Government of India rules. Aspirants can check the same through the notification.

Candidates are advised to visit the website and click on the career > recruitment > notification for direct recruitment of Assistant Foreman (Mech.)/E&T (Tr.), Technician Fitter/ Electrician/ Turner/ Machinist/ Welder (Tr.) > Apply Online. After satisfying the eligibility, candidates can begin with the registration process. Hereafter, they can submit the fee and proceed to submit the NCL online application form. Unreserved/ OBC/ EWS category candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- as NCL recruitment application fee. The application fee can be submitted only through SBI Collect mode. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ Departmental candidate/ PWBD category are exempted from application fee submission.
