National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), Pune has advertised 07 vacancies for the recruitment to the post of Project Scientist-II, Project Associate-I and Project Associate-II. The vacancies will be filled up on a temporary basis. NCL has published the detailed advertisement and application proforma at their website ncl-india.org. Eligible and intending candidates must note that today is the last date of receipt of applications i.e. August 27, 2020. Final selection of applicants is to be done through interview scheduled to be conducted on September 03, 2020, from 10.00 AM onward through online channels. The shortlist of candidates selected for the interview is to be updated on August 31, 2020.
As per the official recruitment notification, 07 temporary vacancies are advertised for the posts as specified above. The vacancies are available in a sponsored project under the Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry division of the company. One vacancy is available for each the posts of Project Scientist II and Project Associate II. The rest of the 05 vacancies are available for the post of Project Associate I. Appointed candidates are entitled to receive consolidated monthly emoluments at the rate of Rs 67000 + HRA for the post of Project Scientist II and Rs 25000 + HRA for the post of Project Associate I. Candidates appointed to the post of Project Associate II is entitled to receive Rs 28000 + HRA per month.
Intending candidates must ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions before applying for the advertised posts. Candidates applying for the post of Project Scientist II must have a Doctoral degree in Science or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology. In addition, 03 years of experience in R&D is relevant field is also required. The maximum permissible age of this post is 40 years. On the other hand, for the post of Project Associate I, candidates must have an M.Sc. degree in Natural or Agricultural Science/MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Medicine in order to apply. Similarly, in order to apply for the post of Project Associate II, candidates must have an M.Sc. degree in Natural or Agricultural Science/MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Medicine. In addition, minimum 02 years of experience in R&D in relevant field is also required to apply for this post. The maximum permissible age for the posts of PA I and II is 35 years.
Selection of the eligible applicants is to be done on the basis of online interviews. The organization will shortlist eligible applicants for the interview at the discretion of a Screening Committee. The shortlist of selected candidates is to be made available on August 31, 2020. Candidates can also seek information through email about the shortlist of selected candidates. Candidates will be individually communicated the meeting link for online interviews. However, candidates will not be provided with any TA/DA for appearing in the interview. Selected candidates are expected to join on immediately on the receipt of the offer of engagement.
