National Centre for Disease Informatics and Research, Bengaluru is recruiting eligible candidates for the post of Project Scientist – C (Medical), Project Technical Officer (Statistics) and Project Technical Officer (Population Studies). The conducting body has announced a total of 07 vacancies for the NCDIR recruitment 2020. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their application on or before the last date August 31, 2020, by 05:00 PM. Candidates must note that after the selection they have to serve under different regions across the country. Those who are appointed as Project Scientist-C (Medical) gets a monthly salary of Rs. 72,325, Project Technical Officer (Population Studies) receives Rs. 32,000/- and Project Technical Officer (Statistics) gets a monthly salary of Rs. 32,000/-. The recruitment to these posts is completely on a temporary basis.
Candidates who intend to apply for Project Technical Officer (Statistics) must possess a graduation degree in Statistics/ Biostatistics from a recognized university along with 05 years of work experience. Those who have a Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Biostatistics are also eligible for this post. To Apply for Project Technical Officer (Popular Studies), candidates must possess a graduation degree in Statistics/ Biostatistics with a minimum of 05 years of work experience. Master’s degree holders in Statistics/ Biostatistics/ Demography/ Population Studies can also apply for a Project Technical Officer (Popular Studies). Candidates who have a post-graduate degree in MD/ MS/ DNB after MBBS with one year’s experience can apply for Project Scientist- C. Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects after MBBS or MBBS/ BDS/ Graduate degree in Medical is also one of the essential qualifications to apply for Project Technical Officer (Popular Studies).
Aspirants willing to apply for the announced post must download the NCDIR application form from ncdirindia.org. The duly filled form along with relevant document must be submitted to the email – [email protected] Candidates have to attach passport size photograph, self-attested copies of the relevant educational documents, experience certificate with the NCDIR application forms.
Those who are found eligible are shortlisted for the interview round. Candidates have to report at the venue as per the schedule. The interview date and time, the venue will be intimated to them later on. Considering the current situation the interview/ personal interaction may be conducted through video conferencing mode. After the final selection, candidates are advised to carry original copies of the case certificate, one self attested passport size photograph, educational qualification certificate, date of birth proof, ID proof and other testimonials as asked for the verification.
