National Board of Education (NBE) is going to launch a demo test today, April 08, 2021, for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2021. This test shall be available to candidates on the official website of the examination i.e., nbe.edu.in. NEET PG 2021 is going to be conducted on April 18, 2021, through the computer-based format. With the intention of familiarising candidates with the online format, NBE shall be launching the demo test which shall be accessible from today onwards. With just a few days left for the national-level examination, candidates must be aware of the paper pattern and marking scheme NEET PG 2021.
NBE is scheduled to conduct the NEET PG 2021 on April 18, 2021. Admit cards for the same shall be released on the official website nbe.edu.in on April 12, 2021. At the same time, aspirants can use the demo test to be made available on the official website today, April 08, 2021. Candidates can appear for the demo test to understand the format, paper pattern and marking scheme of the medical entrance test.
NEET PG 2021 shall be conducted through the computer-based format and shall comprise of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The exam shall comprise of 200 questions and shall be of 3 hours 30 minutes duration. The questions shall be displayed only in the English language and each question shall have one option as the correct answer.
Candidates are also expected to familiarise themselves with the marking scheme before the examination scheduled on April 18, 2021. According to NBE, each correct response shall be given 4 marks whereas 1 mark shall be deducted for every wrong answer. No marks shall be deducted for questions which are not attempted.
During the examination, candidates shall be given an option to mark any question for review irrespective of whether it is attempted or not. This option simply means that aspirants can go back these review questions before the examination ends. They must also keep in mind that the questions marked under review shall be evaluated as per the prescribed marking scheme.
NBE has also mentioned the timeline and schedule to be followed on the examination day by all candidates. From 12:00 pm, candidates shall be permitted to enter the exam centre fulfil the registration formalities for the test. At 1:30 pm sharp, entry to the exam centre shall be closed. At 1:45 pm, candidates shall be granted access to login to the test.
Candidates from 1:50 pm onwards, have to log-in and read all the given instructions. NEET PG 2021 shall begin at 2:00 pm sharp and shall go on till 5:30 pm. Candidates are advised to make a note of this schedule before the examination. They are also expected to download the admit card well in-advance before the exam day.
