The National Board of Examination (NBE) will announce NEET PG 2109 Result today, on January 31, 2019. The Board has confirmed to Aglasem that the result will be announced after 5:00 pm onwards. It will be released online, on nbe.edu.in for all the candidates who appeared for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-PG) 2019 on January 06, 2019.
To check NEET PG 2019 Result candidates will require to visit the official website and click on the link for result. It will lead to a login and to access it user id and password will be needed. The scorecard of NEET PG will hold marks obtained by the candidates in the exam. Their rank will released separately. The Board will also release NEET PG Rank List for All India 50% quota seats. It will be released as pdf and in it roll number of the qualified candidates, along with marks out of 1200 will be mentioned.
Along with the result, NBE also releases the cutoff for NEET PG 2019 which conveys the basic qualifying criteria. The cut off will be announced through the result but the minimum requirement to qualify NEET PG 2019 is that the candidates should score more than 50th Percentile. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC need to surpass 40th percentile and the criteria for UR PwD candidates is 45th percentile.
Soon after the declaration of result counseling process will start. All the candidates qualified as per NEET PG Result 2019 will then be called for the counseling process that is conducted by MCC, DGHS, MoHFW, and State Government Bodies. Now, it should be known that NBE only conducts the examination and declares the results for NEET PG, it does not conduct the counseling process for the same instead NBE hands over the result to the above authorities conducting the counseling.
NEET PG 2019 examination was conducted in online mode. In the exam there were total 300 multiple choice questions. Candidates had to solve these questions in 3 hours and 30 minutes. As per the Board, 25% negative marking is applicable for incorrect answers marked by candidates in NEET PG 2019.
National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-PG) is conducted for candidates willing to take admission in MD, MS, PG Diploma admission. NEET PG is a national level PG medical entrance exam and it is the only valid postgraduate medical entrance exam as per the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. AIIMS and JIPMER are exceptions to this statement above.
