National Board of Examinations has released admit cards of three major exams, the NEET MDS 2020, PDCET 2020, and FMGE Dec 2019. These exams, for post graduate dental course admissions, post graduate DNB secondary courses, and eligibility test for foreign graduates, will all be held on December 20, 2019.
As per the notification that was released at the end of last month regarding timeline of events after edit window, the admit cards were supposed to be released on December 13, 2019. Three days after the promised date, today, on December 16, 2019, NBE has published separate notices confirming that NEET MDS 2020 admit card, PDCET 2020 admit card, and FMGE Dec 2019 admit card are available for download. The notifications have been published at natboard.edu.in.
To download the admit cards, candidates who have applied for any of the three exams, need to visit nbe.edu.in and click “NEET MDS”, or “PDCET” or “FMGE”, depending on the exam one has applied for. Then on the exam page, clicking the applicant login link opens the login page, where one has to login with user ID and password in order to login and download respective exam’s admit card. Forgot password and change password links are also available on the login page. To use either, user id is required.
After downloading admit card, candidates need to paste their latest photograph in the given space, and report to the exam centre as per the time mentioned in the document and information bulletin. Candidates need to carry a printout of the admit card with their photo on it, and any one of the authorized photo Ids in original.
The list of authorized photo IDs that are allowed at the centre include aadhaar card with photograph, driving license, PAN card, passport, voters ID card. It is to be noted that the name on the photo identification card should match with the name in the admit card. If one’s name has changed in the meantime, then relevant documents should be brought as proof of the same, such as marriage certificate, divorce decree, legal name change document.
All the three exams will be computer based tests.
NEET MDS will have 240 multiple choice questions to be attempted in 3 hours. For every correct answer, candidate will get 4 marks, and 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answers.
PDCET will also have the same marking scheme, but will have 200 questions to be attempted in 2.5 hours. There will be questions on 8 topics. There will be 25 questions from anatomy, physiology, biochemistry. Then 25 from pathology, microbiology and pharmacology. Then 35 questions will be on general medicine, dermatology, psychiatry, radiotherapy. 35 more questions will be on general surgery, anesthesia, orthopedics, radiodiagnosis. Then there will be 15 questions on paediatrics, 20 on ENT and ophthalmology, 25 on obstetrics and gynecology, and 20 on community medicine.
FMGE shall have 300 MCQs, divided into two parts A and B with 150 questions each. There will not be any negative marking in this exam.
