National Board of Examination is recruiting candidates for the posts of Senior Assistant, Junior Assistant, Junior Accountant and Stenographer. NBE has announced a total of 90 vacancies for advertised posts under the administrative department. The application process for NBE recruitment 2020 begins from July 11, 2020. Eligible candidates can download the official notification with Advt. No. 21005/RECT/2020 from natboard.edu.in. The forms are accepted on or before the last date of application form submission, July 31, 2020.
The pay matrix level for NBE recruitment is different for each post. Candidates who are shortlisted as Senior Assistant are recruited under the pay matrix level 7. Those recruited as Junior Assistant and Stenographer receives a salary as per pay matrix Level 2. For the post of Junior Accountant, salary is offered according to the pay matrix level 4.
Candidates who are willing to apply for the NBE recruitment should ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria, before applying. For the post Senior Assistant, candidates must have a degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Those who have passed 12th standard and have knowledge of how to use computers and basic software packages such as Windows/Network Operating/LAN Architecture are eligible for the post of Junior Assistant. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with Maths or statistics/Degree in Commerce to submit an application for the post of Junior Accountant. Plus, they should have 03 years of work experience in Accounts field. For the post of Stenographer, candidates must possess stenographic skill with 80/30 WPM in shorthand. In addition, they must have work experience of 02 years as Stenographer in Government/PSU/Autonomous Body.
NBE has also prescribed the age limit for all the posts. Eligible candidates age must be below 27 years for Senior Assistant, Junior Assistant, Junior Accountant and Stenographer. The eligibility and age limit is calculated as an the last date of application that is July 31, 2020.

Candidates must register themselves before appearing for the CBT exam conducted by TCS examination. The link for registration and application form is available in the notification. Aspirants must provide functional email ID and mobile number and keep it active till the recruitment is over. General category candidates have pay Rs.1500/- plus GST as the application fee. For SC/ST/PWD/OBC-NCL/EWS/Women candidates, the application fee is Rs.750/- plus GST.
The selection procedure for NBE recruitment involves Computer Based Test examination. The exam is scheduled to be held on August 31, 2020. Candidates have to answer 200 questions in the CBT exam. Each question of the NBE exam carries 1 marks. Candidates are allotted 180 minutes to attempt as many questions they can. Questions asked in the CBT exam for Senior Assistant and Junior Accountant are of graduation level, whereas for the Junior Assistant and Stenographers, the questions are of 10+2 level.
