NABARD Development Assistant Mains 2019 Exam Date

National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has announced the exam date for the NABARD Development Assistant main examination 2019. The examination is scheduled to be held on Friday, November 29, 2019. The examination will be held as stage 2 in the recruitment process for Development Assistant (DA) and Development Assistant (Hindi) in National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development. 

For DA and DA Hindi, there will be different papers with a different patterns, however both shall be computer based tests. Both the papers have five sections or subjects in them. While the DA Mains exam shall have sections reasoning test, quantitative aptitude, general awareness with special reference to agriculture as well as rural development and banking, computer knowledge, english language test. The sections will respectively have 30 questions of 30 marks, 30 questions of 30 marks, 50 questions of 50 marks, 40 questions of 40 marks, and the last one will have descriptive questions of 50 marks.

Whereas in the case of DA hindi, the sections will be reasoning test, test of professional knowledge in hindi, general awareness with special reference to agriculture as well as rural development and banking, computer knowledge, english language test. Here the sections will respectively have 20 questions of 20 marks, 50 questions of 50 marks, 40 questions of 40 marks, 40 questions of 40 marks, and the last one will have descriptive questions of 50 marks.

The English language test which is descriptive in nature can contain questions related to essay, precis writing, report and letter writing. According to the pattern and guidelines mentioned in the notification, all the objective type of questions carry a deduction of 1/4th mark for incorrect answers.

Candidates have to download the admit card from the official website of NABARD for the online test. It can be downloaded using the registration number/roll number, password/date of birth. Candidates can expect the releasing of the admit card around 10 days prior to the main examination. 

For the selection of the candidates, a final merit list will be prepared based upon the marks obtained in the main examination both in the objective test and descriptive test. While preparing it may so happen that two candidates got the same marks then such cases of tie will be resolved on the basis of the higher qualification first, then on the higher marks in graduation and then at the later stage age will be taken into consideration. 

NABARD DA recruitment 2019 is for a total of 82 vacancies. Majority of the vacant positions are in Maharashtra at the Head Office in Mumbai.

National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development is a financial institution of India. The institution is responsible for policy planning and operations for agriculture and other economic activities in rural areas of India. The post for which this examination is being conducted has the responsibility of handling and managing relationships with the donors of the organizations, taking care of the issues arose, finding out ways of increasing the inflow of finds in the organisation, also bestowed upon with the responsibilities of handling database and research related work.
