Mumbai University has released the first merit list for the undergraduate admissions today, June 29, 2022, at 11 am. The last date for the submission of the online application and enrolment form was June 25, 2022. Candidates who have filled the enrolment forms for admission can check out the official website of the respective colleges. The Mumbai University merit list is prepared by considering the marks scored in the last qualifying examination. As per updates, there are a total of 800 colleges affiliated with Mumbai University that will be granted admission to their respective UG programmes.
As of now, only colleges such as Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College, D. G. Ruparel College of Arts, Science and Commerce, and D. G. Ruparel College of Arts, Science and Commerce have released their respective merit list. A lot of colleges have been awaiting the release of the CBSE and ICSE board results. Whereas, some colleges have been conducting their entrance tests for admission.
St. Xavier’s College Principal Rajendra Shinde told a leading media house that, only after all of the boards have released their result and entrance exams are conducted the college, we will decide the minimum cut-off marks for admission. At present we are conducting the admissions for the in-house students only, the admission to traditional courses will be once this admissions are over.
