Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission has postponed the exam date of the State Service Examination. The examination was earlier scheduled to be held on April 11, 2021. The Commission has issued an official notice on the website mppsc.nic.in. As per the notice, the Preliminary stage exam of the MPPSC State Service Examination will be tentatively conducted on June 20, 2021 instead of April 11, 2021. MPPSC has clarified that the decision has been taken in view of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the state in current times.
The Commission is conducting the MPPSC State Service Exam 2020 this year. Earlier, MPPSC invited applications for the exam from eligible candidates of the state. A total of 235 vacancies in various departments of the state Government will be filled up through the MPPSC State Service Exam 2020. The application process is already over now and the MPPSC SSE 2020 Admit Card for the Prelims exam were to be made available from April 06, 2021 to April 10, 2021.
Now that the exam date has been postponed to June 20, 2021, registered candidates can expect the admit card to release approximately five days before the new exam date. It can be expected that the MPPSC State Service Examination 2020 Admit Card for the Prelims exam will release tentatively on June 15, 2021.
Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission conducts the State Service Examination once a year to fill up vacancies in concerned departments of the State Government. Recently, the Main exam of the 2019 edition of the MPPSC State Service Examination was concluded. Alongside, the MPPSC State Service Exam 2020 was also scheduled to be held in April 2021 till now.
The Commission has already published complete details of the examination on the official website. The selection process consist of three main stages, the first among which is the Preliminary stage exam. Those who qualify through the Prelims become eligible to appear in the Main exam. Subsequently, qualifiers of the Main exam are called to appear in the final interview and document verification stages before appointment to the advertised vacant posts.
Candidates may note that the admit card releases just before the exam on the official website i.e. mppsc.nic.in only. Candidates have to download the admit card by logging in with the credentials generated during the online application procedure. Since the MPPSC State Service Examination is a state level examination, it will be conducted in centres across the state of Madhya Pradesh only. The exact details of the allocated exam centre, timings, reporting time etc. are indicated on the admit card. Registered candidates are advised to keep a close watch on the official website for any further updates regarding the exam.
