The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the official notification for the post of Assistant Engineer (AE) under the state engineering services examination. Interested candidates will be able to fill out the online application forms via the official website – mppsc.mp.gov.in. The application process will commence on April 06 and will continue till April 15. MPPSC AE 2022 examination is going to be held on May 22 from 12 Noon to 3 PM. The examination centers are Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, and Gwalior.
Age Limit
The applying candidate must be of a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 40 years. It must be noted that the age calculation will be done as of January 01, 2022. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will get relaxation for up to 05 years as per existing norms. It is advised to read the existing rules and regulations regarding eligibility prior to filling out the application form. If at any stage of selection it is found that the candidate does not hold eligibility, then their candidature will get canceled.
Vacancy Break Up
MPPSC had earlier released the official notification. However, after a corrigendum was published on March 30, it was noticed that the number of vacancies has been increased for the three posts. To know more, go through the table below.

Application Form
The applying candidate must keep scanned copies of recent passport-sized photographs and signature ready. Before the final submission of the application form, candidates will be able to make changes in certain fields such as name, parent’s name, date of birth, category, gender, etc. After that, the application number will be generated. They can take a printout of the filled application form after depositing the required application fee.
For candidates belonging to unreserved categories and residing outside Madhya Pradesh, the application fee is Rs 500. Applicants from SC, ST, OBC (NCL), Divyangjan categories and residents of MP have to pay Rs 250 as the application fee.
Selection Procedure
There will be an objective-type or OMR based test for the recruitment examination. Candidates will be informed about the examination city via SMS or e-mail 10 days prior to the examination date. The admit cards can be downloaded from May 17 onwards via mponline.gov.in and mppsc.mp.gov.in. On the basis of merit of marks obtained in the examination, candidates will be called for an interview. For final selection, the documents of the selected candidates will be sent to the respective departments. However, the selected candidates will be appointed on probation for two years.
