The Madhya Pradesh Board of school Education (MPBSE) is all set to conduct the Class 10 and 12 board exams from the third week of February 2022. As per schedule Class 10 board exams will be conducted from February 18 to March 10, 2022. Class 12 exams is scheduled to be conducted from February 17 to March 12, 2022. The admit cards were released in the official website mpbse.nic.in on January 25, 2022. Candidates were given the opportunity to communicate any errors in the admit card till January 31, 2022.

The official twitter handle of MP School Education, @schooledump, tweeted a video of the School Education Minister giving an official statement to all concerned, that the class 10th, 12th, board exams 2022 shall be held as per schedule.
The official statement reads: “Annual examination of class 10th and 12th in the state will be held as per the schedule. Annual examination of class 10th in all schools will be conducted from February 18, 2022 and annual examination of class 12th will be conducted from February 17, 2022- Minister of State for School Education (Independent Charge) Shri. Inder Singh JP.”
With this statement, the department has put to rest any speculations on postponement of MP board exams 2022.
Students demand postponement of MP Board Exam 2022
A student writes, “Respected authorities we all the students of 12th class are request that the board exams should conduct in April. Because the COVID-19 cases are increasing rapidly in madhya pradesh and students are worried for Their incomplete syllabus.“
Such messages are spread across the social media.
Many have pointed out that (1) exam should be online owing to the pandemic, and (2) they should be delayed due to delays in covering the syllabus.

Owing to the rising cases of COVID19 in the country, as well as in Madhya Pradesh, it was expected that the board exams will be postponed. Also, many students had demanded that the exams be conducted in online mode. But the School Education Department’s tweet has put an end to the speculations. In the tweet, Madhya Pradesh School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar has announced that the Class 10 and 12 board exams will be conducted as per schedule. He also urged that the students prepare well for the exam, as the time is limited. He concluded by wishing good luck to the students of Madhya Pradesh. The comments section is filled with some students requesting that the board exams be postponed and the rest demanding that the board exams should be cancelled.
MP School Reopening: Schools reopened in the state from today
The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced yesterday that the schools will re-open today, February 01, 2022 and operate with 50% capacity. Last month, the MPBSE had conducted the Pre-Board exams, where the students had to collect the question paper and attempt them from their home and submit the answer sheets to the school. The theory papers carry 80 marks and the rest 20 marks will be awarded based on the practical exams and internal assessment.Taking the current COVID situation into consideration, the Board has announced that 30% of the questions will be of Multiple Choice Question type.
