The Madhya Pradesh government has announced the MP Board class 5 and 8 results today, i.e. May 13, 2022. Students who have appeared for the exam can now check the results via the official website – rskmp.in. The results were announced by Rashmi Arun Soni, the principal secretary of school education. Around 8.26 lakh students had appeared for the class 5 exam while 7.56 lakh students sat for the class 8 exam. The press conference at which the results were announced was also broadcasted on YouTube. This press conference began at 2:55 PM. The pass percentage for class 5 stands at 90.01% while the same for class 8 is 82.35%. However, the girls performed better as compared to the boys. For class 5, the pass percentage of boys stands at 89.28% and the same for girls is 90.71%. Similarly, in class 8, it is seen that the pass percentage of is at 80.25% and that for girls is 84.33%.
How to check?
Reportedly, it was nearly a decade later that the state government is announcing the class 5th and 8th results. The exams were conducted in a format similar to board exams. There were test centres, copy reviewing in the schools and districts, online results and other formats used for executing the exams. To check the results, here are the steps that one can follow.
Step 1- Go to the official website of Rajya Shiksha Kendra, Madhya Pradesh at rskmp.in
Step 2- Enter unique ID and password first
Step 3- Now, enter the captcha and click on the ‘login’ button
Step 4- After checking the result, take a soft copy of the same for future use.

Reportedly, the school authorities will also be able to check the results by entering the UID number and password. The class 5 exams were successfully conducted from April 1 to 8, 2022 while the class 8 exams took place from April 1 to 9, 2022. These exams were conducted in the offline mode. In case any student is not satisfied with their results, then they can also apply for improvement and supplementary exams by paying the required fee.
Earlier, it was announced that the students who will fail to qualify for the exams are going to be given additional tuition by the respective schools. Moreover, two months after the declaration of results, these students will also be given the opportunity to take a re-examination. As per the provisions of the Right to Education Act, this year onwards, provisions have been framed to promote students to the next class along with supplementary exams and withholding of the students if they fail.
