A good deed
Forest watcher Kaileshan, in the neighboring state of Kerala, saw a crying child on the highway at 5th mile and ran over to pick her up. With the help of fellow forest watcher Viswanath, they administered first aid to the 10 month old who had miraculously survived after falling off a moving jeep near Eravikulam in Munnar. The child had crossed the dangerous highway, endangered by traffic as well as wild animals, and was ultimately saved by the forest watchers at the check post.
