Mop Up Round Of NEET UG 2018 Counselling Dates Changed; Registration From 16 August

Medical Counseling Committee has changed the dates for Mop Up Round of NEET UG 2018 Counselling. Earlier, the registration schedule had been fixed for August 12-14, 2018.

Now according to the new schedule, the NEET UG Mop Up Round Registration will start from August 16, 2018. Candidates will have three days to complete the registration process until August 18, 2018 (12:00 Noon).

The NEET UG 2018 Mop up round commences after the completion of the 2nd round of counseling. This is basically the last round of NEET UG counselling process. In this round left over seats are allocated to students. This is the final round of counselling, in case seats are left then the transfer of seats is done. Such that no further counselling round will be organized by the committee.

NEET UG MOP UP ROUND TO COMPLETE IN 5 DAYS

To fill the 15% All India Quota Seats, the mop round will wrap up in 5 days. In case the there is non-joining or non-reporting seats, the transfer of seat for Deemed/Central Universities/ESIC will take place on August 26, 2018.

In the registration process, candidates have to fill the basic details and submit the name of colleges according to their choice. Aspirants have the freedom to change the selected choice before the last date of registration. So, it is advisable that you choose the college wisely after considering various factors like availability of seats, NEET UG 2018 Scores etc.

After the registration process, the choice filling/ locking round will conduct in a one day period on August 19, 2018. Once the candidates choose the colleges according to their choice and availability of seats, the seat allotment process will take place. This process including the result announcement will be done on August 20, 2018. Candidates who will get the seats of their choice have to report the respective college until August 26, 2018.

Candidates who got the seats in 2nd round cannot appear for mop up round

Candidates who did not get the seats in the second round can appear for this round. Even more new candidates can also register for this round. In case you have missed the deadlines, you can still appear for counseling process now. Since this is the last round of NEET UG 2018 counseling. After this remaining seats will be filled by the state counselling.

Candidates who will get the seats of their choice must report at the respective centers. You must carry Result/ Rank letter by CBSE, Class 10th & 12th Certificate and mark sheet, NEET 2018 Admit Card, birth certificate if the metric certificate does not have the same, 8 passport size photographs, allotment letter. identity proof, category certificate, PWD certificate. Candidates must take the documents according to the requirement an applicability.

    In Mop up round, we should again due registration, I mean I registered in 2nd round but I didn’t allotted any seat , so “mop up round ” will be continued for choice filling as already registered in 2nd round.

    In the mop up round there should be again on line choice filling scheduled for one day and results by evening and joining within two days because Candidates are now lesser. This process will not leave any chance of corruption in the system.

    Odisha state mop up round will be on 21st and 22nd August. If some one takes part on All India mop up and gets selected and don’t join Can he take state mop round.
    If selected in all India mop up and did not join will he forefit 2 lakh rupees.

    CANDIDATES WHO REGISTERED ONCE IN NEET COUNSELLING PROCESS BUT THEY COULDN’T GET ANY SEATS AND WANT TO GO FOR MOP-UP, THEY CAN CONTINUE. NO NEED REGISTRATION AGAIN. THE PORTAL WILL SHOW YOU THE CHOICE FILLING.
