The Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad (MICA) invites candidates to apply for the MICAT 2 at mica.ac.in. The application process for MICAT 2 exam begins from November 23, 2021. The online registration is scheduled to conclude on January 16, 2022. Interested candidates must apply for the exam before the last date of application. As per the official update, MICAT 2 will be held on January 29, 2022 at different centres in CBT mode. Candidates must visit the official site to start their registration. All applicants are advised to follow the registration procedure carefully. Official notification for the same has been released by MICA on their website at mica.ac.in.
The registration fee for MICAT 2022 test is Rs 2100 for all applicants. Candidates can pay their application fee in online mode only through Debit card/ Credit card/ net banking. Check out the steps to apply online for MICAT 2022 exam in the procedure mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of MICA at mica.ac.in. On their homepage, click on the ‘ Apply Now’ button.
Step 2: New registrations shall proceed with ‘ New registration for all the programmes’ button and complete their respective registration. On the other hand already registered users shall proceed with the login process.
Step 3: Once logged, applicants must carefully fill all their personal and educational details asked in the form. Personal details should be checked twice before submitting as the same details will be printed on their respective admit cards.
Step 4: Enter CAT/XAT/GMAT scores in educational details. Select programs as per the requirement from the given options : PGP / CCC / FPM.
Step 5: Choose the test city preference. Candidates can choose up to 3 cities. Besides test centre preference, an option for GD/PI city preference also has to be selected.
Step 6: Upload respective passport size photograph and signature on a blank white paper. The images should be in JPG/JPEG format with size below 80kb for both of them.
Step 7: Pay the application fee and submit the application form.
The exam pattern for the MICAT 2 exam is moderately different from most of the MBA entrance exams. It consists of three different sections, namely Section A (Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, General Awareness and Divergent-Convergent Thinking), Psychometric Test and Section B (Descriptive Test). Applicants get on the basis of their performance in CAT/XAT/GMAT and MICAT (I or II) exam. The weightage of CAT/XAT/GMAT and MICAT is 50 per cent overall.
