Medical and Health Recruitment Board, Assam has advertised multiple openings for MDS degree holders for the post of Lecturer in Government Dental Colleges

Medical and Health Recruitment Board, Assam is inviting applications to fill up 44 newly advertised vacancies for the post of Lecturer in Government Dental Colleges. MHRB, Assam has published a detailed recruitment notification in this regard at the website nhm.assam.gov.in. The complete details of the recruitment process and vacancies are available in the detailed notification. Eligible and intending candidates must read the notification carefully before applying online at the aforementioned website. The last date of receipt of online applications is October 05, 2020.

As per the detailed advertisement, there are 44 openings available for the post of Lecturer in different departments. The vacancies are available in Government Dental Colleges under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam. Selected candidates will be appointed at the pay scale of Rs 68, 900 to Rs 2,05,500 (Academic Level-11 of UGC scale). In addition, they are also entitled to receive other allowances as applicable.

Candidates applying for the recruitment must be at least 21 years old and not more than 38 years as on January 01, 2020. However, relaxations on the upper age limit are applicable for candidates belonging to special reserved categories. The minimum educational qualification required to apply for the post of Lecturer in different departments is a recognized MDS degree in the relevant subject. Preference will be given to Doctors working under 3(f) of APSC or 17B of MHRB.

The selection of the eligible applicants will be done through interview/online interview. While applying online, candidates do not need to submit any supporting documents. However, original documents and testimonials must be produced at the time of interview. It is during this stage that candidates will have to submit self-attested photocopies of all supporting documents.

Applicants must note that an application fee of Rs 250 must be paid by General category candidates in order to apply. The fee for candidates belonging to OBC, MOBC, SC, ST(P) and ST(H) categories is Rs 150 only. BPL candidates and PWD candidates are completely exempted from the payment of any application fee. The fee must be paid through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account “0210-Medical and Public Health-01-Urban Health Services-800-Other Receipt”. In addition, applicants can also pay the fees using Government Receipt Accounting System (GRAS) at the website assamegras.gov.in.

Care must be taken to fill-up the application form carefully before submission. Incomplete applications are rejected. The fee must be paid only through the designated mode. Candidates are advised to read the notification by clicking on the direct link here before applying for the recruitment.
