Guntur District Medical and Health Department of the Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued an official recruitment notice indicating 218 openings in different medical posts. The official notice identified as notification number 02/2020 is for the recruitment of 119 Staff Nurses, 43 Lab. Tech. Gr.II, 23 Pharmacists Gr.II, 18 MNOs, and 15 FNOs. Eligible applicants upon final selection are recruited either on a contractual or outsourcing basis. The application process on prescribed proforma must reach the department by post or at [email protected] between June 26, 2020, and July 22, 2020 (both dates included).
The complete eligibility conditions for different posts are indicated in the detailed advertisement. Candidates must have passed GNM/B.Sc Nursing course from a state government recognized institute and registered with the AP Nursing Council to apply for the post of Staff Nurse. SSC passed candidates with a Diploma in Medical Lab. Technology/2 Years DMLT course/B.Sc with BZC/B.SC (Life Science) with PG Diploma in Medical Lab Tech and registered with AP Paramedical Board can apply for the post of Laboratory Technician. Candidates who have passed D. Pharm/B.Pharm/M. Pharm course from a state government recognized institute and registered with the AP Paramedical Council can apply for the post of a pharmacist. On the other hand, 10th pass candidates can apply for the post of Male Nursing Orderly (MNO) and Female Nursing Orderly (FNO).
Eligible candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the aggregate marks in the all the years of the qualifying exam which consist of 75% of the marks weightage. 15% marks weightage is for experience of government services and 10 marks are allocated to the marks weightage in terms of the number of years of service since passing the last qualification’s exam.
Finally selected and appointed candidates are entitled to fixed monthly remuneration. Staff Nurses are entitled to a fixed monthly remuneration of Rs 34000. Lab. Tech Gr-II and Pharmacist Gr-II post holders are entitled to receive a monthly remuneration of Rs 28000. MNO and FNO post holders are entitled to monthly remuneration of Rs 12000. Among the advertised posts, recruitment to the posts of MNO and FNO is done on an outsourcing basis while the other posts are the contractual basis. Before joining on the contractual basis posts, candidates are required to execute an agreement on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs 100 with two witnesses. This agreement must be submitted to the appointing authority.
Candidates are required to fill up the application form and submit it by email or send it by Registered Post. All applications must be received by the authorities by 5.00 PM on the last date.
