The Collectorate of Araria, Bihar has published an official notice of recruitment at the website araria.bih.nic.in indicating openings for 47 posts. The posts are for Anganwadi Sevika and Anganwadi Sahayak. Online applications from eligible candidates are invited by the electorate. The application process started on June 15, 2020. The last date to apply online is June 29, 2020. As such candidates are advised to visit the application link at fts.bih.nic.in to apply for the recruitment now. The formal merit list is scheduled to be released on July 06, 2020, while candidates are allowed to raise objections between July 08 to 15, 2020. The date and schedule of the General Discussion are to be announced subsequently. Candidates are advised to go through the advertisement in detail before proceeding to apply online for recruitment.
The 47 vacancies advertised by the Collectorate, in the latest employment notification are bifurcated across different Anganwadi projects of the ICDS. There are 03 posts in Araria, 02 posts in Jokihat, 22 in Palasi, 05 in Sikti, 02 in Kursakanta, 08 in Farbisganj, 02 in Narpatganj and 03 in Bhargama. Among the total number of posts, 14 posts are for Anganwadi Sevika while 33 posts are for Anganwadi Sahayika. In order to apply for the post of Anganwadi Sevika, candidates must be atleast Class 10th passed. On the other hand, candidates who have passed Class 8th are eligible to apply for the post of Anganwadi Sevika.
Candidates are required to apply online for recruitment into the aforementioned posts. The official notification also indicates that if offline applications are indeed received, the relevant Project Office would be liable to upload the offline applications before the last date. Candidates are advised to apply online through the specified link that is presented in the official detailed advertisement. While applying online, candidates are required to upload documents as specified with the application form. These documents include copies of the Matriculation mark sheet (Class 8th mark sheet for those who apply for Sahayika post), photo identity card, caste certificate, disability certificate, widower certificate etc., wherever applicable.
The selection of candidates is done on the basis of eligibility and merit in qualifying exams and subsequently through the General Discussion. If in any condition, the date of General Discussion is delayed, then as per the notification, the same will be rescheduled. Furthermore, the Collectorate has indicated in the official notification that information regarding the project centers and application must also be dispatched by relevant authorities at the District Program Offices. Such information must be dispatched by authorities in respective centers/offices to any prospective candidate. The Collectorate has also indicated that it is compulsory to complete all the rules of the recruitment and selection process in order to be appointed to the aforementioned posts.
