MCSE PUP Class 5 and PSS Class 8 Scholarship Exams Tomorrow

Maharashtra State Council for Examination (MCSE) Pune is scheduled to conduct the MCSE PUP Class 5 and PSS Class 8 scholarship examination tomorrow, August 12, 2021. PUP stands for Primary and Upper Primary whereas PSS represents Pre-Secondary Scholarship examination. As per reports, a total of 6.32 lakh students are expected to appear for the exams tomorrow in 47,612 schools across the country. Out of the total registered students, 3,88,335 shall appear for Class 5 while 2,44,143 are likely to give the scholarship exam. As per officials’ assurance, the scholarship exams will be held by following all social distancing protocols.

With less than few hours left for the MCSE PUP Class 5 and PSS Class 8 2021 scholarship exams, here are certain last-minute tips and tricks that students can follow –

#Tip 1: Read a few chapters from the English Textbook.

The MCSE Pune Scholarship 2021 examination aims to test a students’ intellectual ability in terms of languages, Mathematics and Intelligence IQ. In case of languages, questions will be based on English and a chosen second language.

Students have prepared for months together for the scholarship. Hence, to continue the grid and momentum, they can read a few chapters from their English textbook. Along with this, they can also solve the grammar exercises after every chapter to boost their confidence. A similar approach can be employed to prepare for the second language section.

#Tip 2: Revise the important Mathematics formulae

Solving Mathematics questions a day before the scholarship exam is usually not a good idea. In case the subject is not their forte, students might forget everything that they have studied so far. A better idea is to revise the important formulae 1-2 times on the last day. If not listed before, take an hour or two to list down all the formulae from the exam’s point of view and revise the list thereafter.

#Tip 3: Don’t burden the mind with extensive last-minute preparation.

While there are last-minute tips for languages and Mathematics, the IQ section is unpredictable. Using their study material and previous-year question papers, students can get an idea of the type of questions in the Intelligence section. However, it’s always better to avoid last-minute preparation, especially in case of unpredictable sections.

#Tip 4: (Non-preparation tip) Focus on the documents and things to be carried for the exam.

MCSE authorities have already specified the dress code, things to carry, and social-distancing protocols to be followed at the exam centre. Candidates may not be permitted to appear for the scholarship exam in of failure to follow the specified rules. Therefore, the best last-minute tip is to go through the instructions on the official website mcsepuppss.in a day before the exam. This is better than long-hours of last-minute preparation leading anxiousness, confusion, turmoil and stress.

All the best!
