Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) is all set to declare the result for HSSLC 2020 examinations on July 09, 2020. The result is going to be declared for Science, Commerce and Vocational stream online at mbose.in and megresults.nic.in. This year, a total of 30,697 students appeared in the class 12th exam. Initially, the exams for class 12th were put on hold in the month of March due to the nationwide imposed COVID-19 lockdown, however, the remaining papers for Mathematics, Physical Education and Statistics subjects were then later conducted from June 08-10, 2020.
This year, due to COVID-19 situation, the board will not display the results in MBOSE office or in exam centres. Other than the official website, students can also check MBOSE HSSLC exam result from jangranjosh.com, meghalayaonline.in, meghalaya.shiksha, and results.shiksha.
To check MBOSE HSSLC result, the students have to first visit the official website. Then, on the homepage of the website, click on the relevant link for checking the result. To check the result, students have to enter their respective roll numbers as mentioned on their admit card. Lastly, students can download and take a print out of the provisional result for future reference.
After the result for MBOSE HSSLC is declared, the students have to download their certificate via online mode only. For this, students have to visit the official website only and click on the relevant link of the certificate. Then, the students have to enter their roll number and select the exam name. Lastly, the students have to click on the submit button to download the certificate.
Those who do not obtain passing marks in the HSSLC examination shall be allowed to change the institution or examination centre and even stream within one month from the date of declaration of the result. Furthermore, the class 12th students are allowed to change their subject within a month from the date of declaration of class 11 internal promotion result, with prior permission from the board.
Last year, Meghalaya board declared the HSSLC exam results on May 08 for Science, Commerce, Vocational stream and for Arts stream it was declared on May 27. In the year 2019, a total of 73.80 per cent students passed in science stream, and 73.80 per cent in commerce. Debjanee Bhattacharjee topped in science stream by obtaining 464 marks, while Bhanusaya Upadhaya secured 1st rank with 448 marks in commerce.
