Trouble has sparked in the MBA CET 2021 world as results have been reportedly stalled due to a Bombay High Court hearing due tomorrow. A recent report in a leading daily of the state, 38 aspirants have filed a case citing errors in the question paper, and hearing of the same will be on Monday.
The Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test (MAHA MBA CET) 2021 examination was held from September 16 to 18, 2021. As per the information brochure, results were going to be announced on September 28, 2021, on the official portal mahacet.org. However, they have been delayed for almost a month, making candidates worried and anxious.
Adding to their perils, the MAHA MBA CET 2021 results are not expected to come out soon as a hearing is scheduled to take place tomorrow at the Bombay High Court. Recently, 38 aspirants who took the entrance exam, filed a petition in court about errors in the question papers. The matter will be discussed and deliberated on tomorrow after which, authorities will reach a final consensus.
Considering this case, MBA CET 2021 re-exam might be on the table. However, if the case is dismissed, authorities might just release the results in the coming week. Hence, tomorrow’s verdict is going to be a major deciding point for the future course of the exam.
This year, a total of 1,32,190 students had appeared for the MBA CET 2021 examination. During the exam, 38 candidates found errors in the question papers. After a petition was filed in court, the hearing was scheduled to be held on December 01, 2021. Due to this petition, results were delayed without providing any specific date to announce them.
The date of the next hearing however, would cause a considerable amount of delay in the admission process for the 2021-22 academic year. Hence, the state entrance test cell requested the court to pre-pone the next hearing. Most students want this matter to get resolved so that results can be announced soon after. Once they come out, students will receive some clarity on the colleges that they can apply. With almost a months’ delay in result declaration, tomorrow’s verdict might just reduce the uncertainty among candidates.
A similar situation happened in case of NEET 2021 wherein two students from Solapur received the wrong question paper-answer sheet combination. Of course, this was a mishap on the invigilator’s part and not a mistake in the question paper. But the Bombay High Court ruled in favor of the two students and thus, NEET 2021 Phase 2 examination will be held for them. Comparing this situation with MBA CET 2021, candidates can expect a re-exam for those who filed a petition, if not all. But only if their claims are valid. There are multiple possibilities but the end result is for the future to decide.
