All India Management Association (AIMA) is conducting the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) this month. The association has recently released the admit card for computer based test of MAT September 2019, and also published new dates for it and the paper based test.
Management aspirants who have set their eyes on the B Schools that accept MAT scores, who have applied for the MAT Sept 2019 CBT can download admit card from mat.aima.in. It was released yesterday at 1 pm. The exam will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019.
To download admit card, candidate needs to visit mat.aima.in/sep/19/ and click om the login link. Then login with email address, password to download the admit card.
Earlier the CBT admit card was to be released on September 09, 2019 by 5 pm. However, the delay in the AIMA MAT admit card was caused due to the extension of the online MAT registration dates.
As far as the pen and paper based test of MAT September 2019 is concerned, AIMA has decided to extend the registration for the same. Now fresh candidates can apply until Monday, September 16, 2019. After that admit card will be released on September 17, 2019. The test will be held on September 21, 2019. Any further extensions in dates seems unlikely at the moment.
Candidates applying for the first time, have to keep handy of a valid email id, phone number, scanned photograph (40 to 150 kb), scanned signature (10 to 150 kb), credit card / debit card / net banking details.
The amount of the application fee is Rs 1550 for both pen based test (PBT) and computer based test (CBT). Those who are appearing for both PBT and CBT have to pay an additional application fee of Rs 1100 in addition to Rs 1550.
The MAT admit card is an important document which will be required as a proof of candidate’s identity. AIMA will not send any hard copies of the same. Aspirants are to required to check the details given on the admit card, which includes their name, roll number, form number, exam date and timings, and venue.
Candidates have to report to the test center 90 minutes prior to the commencement of the exam and produce the admit card for appearing in the exam. The admit cards will be signed and verified by the Invigilator during the test.
The paper consists of five sections – (Section I) Language comprehension, (Section II) Mathematical skills, (Section III) Data analysis and sufficiency, (Section IV) Intelligence and critical reasoning, and (Section V) Indian and global environment. Each section carries 40 questions with a total marks of 200.
The MAT exam can be taken in a pen and paper mode as well as computer based mode. The benefit of the taking MAT 2019 exam in both online and offline is that the candidates can select two more management institutes in addition to existing option of selecting five B schools across the country. This means, a candidate can send their scores to 7 institutes instead of 5.
