In the latest notification, AIMA has extended the Pen-based test(PBT) registration dates until May 14, 2018. Candidates who have missed the registration dates can still apply for Pen and paper-based test. It is also a golden opportunity for candidates who feel to improve their scores in the next attempt. So, they can re-register themselves to take the exam again. They just have to re-register themselves from the official website of AIMA.
This is the actually the second notification in a row from AIMA. Last week, it has extended the dates of the Computer-based test(CBT) until May 12, 2018. The MAT 2018 for both PBT & CBT will take place on May 20, 2018. Though there isn’t any notification regarding when the admit cards will release after the new registration. It can be expected that they will release atleast four days before the exam. So, candidates have the appropriate period of time to prepare themselves for the exam day. It is important that you locate the test center before the day of examination. Carry the printed copy of Admit Card and identity card on the day of examination.
As per the official website, the PBT will take place in one day only with the exam timings from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. For now, there is nothing clear about CBT, the exam can be finished in a one day or more than one day. It will depend upon the number of candidates registered for the online entrance test.
The Result dates are also not announced yet. Candidates can expect them to come atleast 20 days after the exam. It can come in the last week of May itself or in the first week of June. Qualified candidates will have to attend the GDPI round to clear the admission process. After few days a final list of eligible candidates will release. Candidates now take admission in MBA Programme of academic session 2018-2020. Classes are expected to commence from the first week of July.
For the exam, PBT exam conducted on last Sunday on May 06, 2018. Students found the exam moderate to difficult. The Reading Comprehension and Data Interpretation was quite tricky to solve. Candidates must note that it is the last chance to take admission in the current session of MBA Programme. So, register yourself fast. Candidates who are aspiring to take admission next year can now look for MAT September 2018 exam. It will be the first exam for the new academic session of 2019-2021.
