All India Management Association (AIMA) has released the MAT Admit Card for the PBT & CBT exam to be held on December 15, 2018. The hall ticket has been released for the candidates who have registered for the PBT exam between 05 -10 December and for CBT exam until December 10, 2018. Students can download the admit card from the official website using the registration number, date of birth, and registered email-id.
After downloading the MAT 2018 Admit card, Candidates must check the details present on it and take the print out of the same. On the exam day, all the test takers must carry a duly completed hall ticket and a valid Id proof. For the pen and paper based exam, also carry blue/black ballpoint pen, HB pencil, eraser, and a sharpener. Do not take items like slide rulers, electronic gadgets, watches etc inside the exam hall.
In case, there is an issue on the hall ticket, then contact the official authorities immediately.
The MAT pen and paper-based test will conduct between 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM only. The CBT will take in multiple slots as mentioned on the admit card. On the exam day, reach the examination centre on time and follow all the instructions that will be stated by the invigilator.
For the better preparation of the exam, candidates must solve the previous question papers and sample papers. The actual exam will contain questions from 4 sections naming Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Indian & Global Environment, and Data Interpretation & Reasoning. Apart from the aptitude, revise the current affairs and static GK in order to prepare for the Indian & Global Environment.
In the MAT PBT examination held on 09 December, the overall examination was moderate with VA and DA on tougher edge. The quantitative section had most of the questions from Arithmetic. In DI, questions were lengthy and time-consuming. LR was moderate but had some tricky questions as well. In GK, most of the questions were from awards, currency, capital, trade policy, government policies etc.
Once the examination for all the sessions is over, candidates will able to download the result on or after December 24, 2018. The score of the exam is accepted at more than 600 colleges and are valid for atmost 12 months. Candidates have to apply to for MAT accepting B-schools separately for admission to the academic year 2019-21. After the December session, candidates will also apply for MAT 2019 February session. The registration is expected to start from the fourth week of December 2018.
