Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has released the Maharashtra SSC result 2021. Finally, the link to check results is working. Students waiting for the result can now check their respective Maharashtra 10th result 2021 from mahahsscboard.in, mh-ssc.ac.in, 115.124.96.221, and 115.124.96.23.
This year the exam was cancelled due to the prevailing pandemic. Hence, the Maharashtra SSC 2021 result is declared based on alternative assessment criteria. Students’ results are evaluated based on a 50:50 ratio of performance in class 9 and class 10. Out of 100 marks, 50% marks are derived from Class 9th performance and the remaining 50% from Class 10th marks.
10th Board 2021 Maharashtra Board Result Statistics
A total of 16.58 lakh were waiting for results this year. As stated by Maharashtra Education Minister, Varsha Gaikwad, 9,09,931 boys and 7,48,693 girls have enrolled for the 10th class this year. Whereas, last year 15,84,264 candidates appeared for the class 10th exam.
99.95% Passed
A total of 99.95% of candidates have cleared the class 10th exam with flying colors. Whereas in the year 2020, 95.30% of candidates cleared the class 10th exam.
Girls Outshine Boys in Maharashtra Class 10 Result 2021
With the increase in the overall passing percentage, the result has also seen a spike in the number of girls outshining the boys. Among the male and females registered for the exam, 99.94% of boys have cleared the Class 10th exam whereas 99.96% of girls have passed the 10th class with flying colours.
Repeat Students Excels with 90.25 Pass Percentage
There were a total of 82,802 students who were repeating class 10th this year. The result came out to be excellent as 90.25% (74,618 students) of the total clears the Class 10th successfully.
Division Wise Maharashtra SSC Result 2021 – Konkan Division Tops the List
The Konkan division has seen 100% results this year. Total 31168 candidates have appeared for the examination and all of them have cleared the Class 10th exam. The Amravati division has secured second place with 99.98% of candidates passing the exam. Total 158839 candidates registered for the exam and 158837 appeared for the exam. However, Nagpur Division stands last on the passing division-wise list. 99.84% of candidates have qualified for the exam.

957 Obtains 100% Marks; 1 Lakh+ Students Secure 90%+
This year broke all the records with the number of pass percentages. The number of 100% scorers was more than the last year. The number of 100% scorers has also increased in comparison to the last year. Total 957 students have secured 100% marks in the 10th Board this year, whereas, in 2020, only 242 students were able to secure a 100% score. As per the reports, over 1 lakh candidates have secured more than 90% marks in the Class 10th exam.
The overall pass percentage for private students has also surpassed previous records. This year, overall 97.45% of private students have cleared the class 10th exam. 28424 students had registered for the exam.
22,000+ schols Obtains 100% Result; 09 Schools Record No Passing Student
Maharashtra SSC result is setting all records in terms of qualifying students. A total of 22,384 schools have recorded 100% results with all students qualifying for class 11th. However, 09 schools have reportedly documented zero passing percentage. Not a single candidate has been able to clear the board’s exam. These 09 schools include 02 from Mumbai, 04 from Nagpur, 02 from Pune and 01 from Nashik.
300+ Students Fails Maharashtra SSC Exam
With a record pass percentage, there are candidates who fail to clear the exam this year. A total of 368 candidates have failed in Maharashtra SSC exam 2021.
Reserved Result for Some Students
Dinkar Patil, Chairman of MSBSHSE has shared that the result of 4922 students is reserved by the Board. As per the reports, the data of these candidates have not been received by the Board as most of these students are repeaters.
Students Allowed to Apply for Re-Exam
Maharashtra State Board will allow candidates to appear for a re-exam. Those students who are not satisfied with the Maharashtra SSC result can appear in the next exam for the improvement of scores. The re-exam will take place when the circumstances are conducive. However, no request regarding re-checking of scores shall be accepted.
