Law School Admission Council has announced revised dates for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) 2021. Registrations for the March Administration is commencing on February 03, 2021, and ending on March 14, 2021. Interested candidates can register online at the official website discoverlaw.in as per schedule. LSAT India 2021 for March Administration is going to be conducted on March 25, 2021. Registrations for June Administration are ending on June 04, 2021. The exam date is tentatively scheduled during the starting week of June 14, 2021. The revisions in the dates are done in order to avoid a clash with the CBSE Board exams, which are scheduled to be held in May 2021. Previously, the LSAT 2021 was also scheduled to commence in May 2021.
The deferred exam dates are reportedly due to the postponement of the CBSE Board exams which are scheduled to be held tentatively in May 2021 instead of March-April 2021. As per official records, the LSAT exam is going to be conducted as an online proctored test in 2021. An official notice is displayed on the official website of the LSAC in regards of the postponement of the dates of the LSAT 2021 exam. The notice reads “Given the continuing uncertainty and disruption of the COVID-19 emergency in many regions, all of the remaining LSAT administrations through April 2021 will be delivered via the online, remotely proctored LSAT-Flex, instead of in-person”.
In the wake of the CBSE Board exams deferred to May 2021, the dates of the Law Entrance Exam has also been deferred in order to allow fairness to candidates who have registered for appearing in the Board exams this year. The LSAT examination was originally scheduled to be conducted from May 10 to June 14, 2021 as per official reports.
As a result of the rescheduled dates of the LSAT 2021 exam, candidates can now appear in the exam before or after the CBSE board exams are conducted. Candidates intending to appear in the exam before the CBSE Board exams can appear in the exam scheduled to be held tentatively on March 25, 2021. The official website i.e. discoverlaw.in is opening registrations for the March 2021 administration on February 03, 2021. Such candidates can register online at the website till March 14, 2021 at the aforementioned website.
Candidates may note that the LSAT exam is conducted for admission to law schools in the United States, Canada and an increasing population of other countries around the world. As a matter of fact, the LSAT exam is the only qualification criteria accepted by all ABA-accredited law schools for admission purposes. Interested candidates can register online to appear in the test at the official website i.e. discoverlaw.in. The LSAT exam is going to be conducted as an online proctored test known as LSAT Flex.
