Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) on Wednesday has released the KVS admission class 1 second selection list. Parents and guardians who have applied for the KVS Class 1 Admission 2021-22 can check the second list from kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in. Along with the selection list, a waiting list has also been uploaded on the official website. Parents can also visit the regional portal of Kendriya Vidyalayas to check the second list.
To download the KVS Class 1 Admission second selection list, go to the official website, kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in. On reaching the homepage, click on the “Parents are requested to click here to check lottery results” link. Thereafter, parents will be directed to the login page. Here, enter the login code, date of birth of a child, mobile number and captcha code as provided on the screen. KVS 2nd list result for class 1 admission will display on the screen. Download and a printout of the same for future admission procedures.
KVS Class 1 Second Selection List Link
Parents who have their child’s name in the second selection list are now expected to visit the Kendriya Vidyalaya for certificate verification. They have to produce date of birth proof, domicile certificates, caste certificate and proof of service of parents at the time of verification.
The admission procedure for Class 1 started in the fourth week of March 2021. However, due to COVID-19, the result declaration procedure got postponed. KV Sangathan has already released the first selection list on June 23, 2021. As per the revised schedule, if the seats remain vacant even after the second selection list then a third list shall be published. It is expected to be issued on KVS’s website on July 05, 2021. KVS shall also publish a provisional select list of candidates based on the priority service category for unreserved seats will be published from July 02, 2021, to July 06, 2021.
Currently, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is running 1248 Kendriya Vidyalayas in 25 different zones. Out of the total available seats, 25% of seats will be reserved for the Right To Education (RTE). The KVS, while preparing the selection list, gives priority to the children and grandchildren of the working and retired government job employees. Other than that, 7.5% of seats are for Scheduled Tribes (ST), 15% of seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) and 27% seats for reserved for Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) in all fresh admissions in all Kendriya Vidyalayas. Also, 3% seats of total fresh admission seats are horizontally reserved for differently-abled children.
