Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan recently releases the complete admission guidelines and schedule for admission in the academic session 2021-22. Registrations for admission to Class 1 has already started at the website kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in from April 01, 2021. For other classes from Class 2 onward (except Class 11), the offline registrations are starting from April 08, 2021. Parents looking forward for admission to their wards in KVS schools in the upcoming session are advised to read the guidelines carefully before registering for admissions; particularly, the age limitations.
It may be noted that as per the KVS admission guidelines for academic session 2021-22, all candidates must comply with the age limitations for admission to different classes. Essentially, candidates must be within the minimum and maximum age limit in order to apply for admission to a class. In this regard, candidates must note that those born on April 01 are also to be considered.
Parents are advised to read the guidelines carefully before registering their wards for admission. For admission to Class 1, the minimum and maximum age of the candidates must be 5 years and 7 years respectively. It may be noted that for admission to Class 1 only, the registrations are conducted online. For all other classes onward Class 2, the registrations are conducted offline.
Similar to the criteria for admission to Class 1, candidates registering for admission to Class 2 must be within the minimum and maximum age of 6 years and 8 years. Parents who are registering their wards for admission in Class 3 must note that the minimum and maximum age of their wards must be 7 years and 9 years respectively.
For admission to Class IV, the minimum and maximum age of the candidates must be within 8 years and 10 years respectively. Likewise, for admission to Class V, the minimum and maximum age of the candidates must be within 9 years and 11 years respectively.
Those who are seeking to register their wards for admission in Class VI must note that the minimum and maximum age specified for this class is 10 years and 12 years. Similarly, for admission to Class VII, candidates must be within the minimum and maximum age of 11 years and 13 years respectively.
For admission to Class VIII, the minimum and maximum age of the candidates must be within 12 years and 14 years. Likewise, parents registering their wards for admission in Class IX must ensure that the candidates are within the minimum and maximum age range of 13 years and 15 years respectively. For admission to Class X, the minimum and maximum age of the candidates must be within 14 years and 16 years respectively.
