Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has activated the online registration portal for Class 1 admission 2021-2022. Parents of eligible candidates are advised to apply online at the portal kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in without delay. Earlier, KVS issued the complete schedule of events and admission guidelines for 2021-22 session at the website kvsangathan.nic.in. Parents can register their wards online as per schedule starting today. For Class 1 admission, the last date to register online is April 19, 2021.
Age Limit for Class 1 Admissions 2021-22 in KVS Schools
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has indicated the eligibility criteria for admission to Class 1 in the academic session 2021-22 in the admission guidelines PDF. The complete details are provided in the document which is available on the website kvsangathan.nic.in.
Candidates seeking admission to Class 1 have to fulfil the age criteria at first. As per official sources, the minimum and maximum age of the candidates must be 5 years and 7 years respectively as on March 31, 2021. It may be noted that those who are born on April 01 will also be considered.
How to Apply for KVS Class 1 Admission 2021-22?
The online application portal of KVS schools for Class 1 Admission (session 2021-22) is kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in. Parents of eligible candidates have to register online at this website only for admission to Class 1. On opening the website using any compatible internet browser, one can see the registration link indicated as Click Here to Register.
Upon clicking the link, the website is redirected to a new page with a set of instructions for applying online. Parents are advised to read the instructions carefully and then click on Proceed to register their wards online. A set of important documents/information that a candidate must possess has been indicated by the KVS as a part of the instructions. These include besides a valid mobile number & email ID, scanned copy of the birth certificate of the candidate, scanned copy of recent photograph etc.
Parents must fill up the registration form carefully and click on Register to complete the process. A Login Code is generated using which, one can log in to the portal and fill up the application form. Upon successfully submitting the online application form, an Application Submission Code is generated. Both these steps must be completed in order to register and apply successfully.
Documents to Upload on KVS Class 1 Admission Form 2021-22
It may be noted that applicants have to upload specified documents on the online application form for KVS Class 1 Admission Form 2021-22. Among these are the photograph of the candidate. The photograph must be within the maximum file size of 256 KB and in the JPEG format.
In addition to the photograph, one must also upload a scanned image of the candidate’s birth certificate. This image file must be in the JPEG or PDF format within the maximum file size of 256 KB.
