KIIT Deemed to be University in Bhubaneswar has achieved a remarkable 100% placement rate once again, securing 6,200 job offers from over 750 companies for approximately 5,000 eligible students across various schools, including the School of Technology, School of Management (KSOM), School of Rural Management (KSRM), School of Biotechnology (KSBT), and School of Law (KLS). This year’s campus placement drive also witnessed a significant increase in the average pay package, exceeding Rs. 8.2 lakhs. The highest offered package reached Rs. 63 lakhs, elevating KIIT’s standing among the top national institutes in terms of campus placement compensation.

KIIT, founded by the renowned educationist and social activist Prof. Achyuta Samanta in 1997, has consistently achieved near-total placement across all academic programs, irrespective of the economic and job market conditions. Since being granted Deemed to be University status by the Government of India in 2004, KIIT has reshaped professional education in the country and established high standards in teaching methodologies and research outcomes.
The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2022 by the Education Ministry ranks KIIT as the 16th best university in India. Globally, it falls within the 601-800 range in the prestigious Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024. The university has also received the highest A++ Grade accreditation from NAAC. Furthermore, the academic programs at the School of Technology are accredited by the IET, UK, and ABET, USA.
Within the School of Technology, over 5,200 job offers were extended by more than 450 companies, with over 1,800 students securing multiple offers. Approximately 2,000 offers were Dream Offers, with an average CTC of Rs. 8.20 lakhs. Capgemini made the highest number of offers, followed by Bosch Global Software Technologies with 302 and 242 offers, respectively.
This year, there was a substantial increase in the pay packages offered to students in the School of Technology. The highest CTC of Rs. 63 lakhs was presented by Yugabyte, while companies like Amazon, Atlassian, LightBeam, and others offered CTCs exceeding Rs. 30 lakhs. Over 155 companies provided CTCs of Rs. 5 lakhs and above, including Cisco, Philips, ION Group, Razorpay Software, and more, offering CTCs ranging from Rs. 15 lakhs to Rs. 25 lakhs.
For core branches of the School of Technology, over 50 companies such as TVS Motors Company, JSW Energy, Volvo Group India, and others offered CTCs ranging from Rs. 5 lakhs to Rs. 10 lakhs. Additionally, more than 1,500 paid internship offers were made by around 60 companies, with Highradius offering the highest number of 1,269 internship offers.
In the School of Management, approximately 140 companies participated in the placement process for MBA and BBA students. The highest CTC of Rs. 22.75 lakhs was offered by Rehlat, while companies like Khimji Ramdas, Alien Group, Tata Communications, and others provided CTCs exceeding Rs. 15 lakhs. The average CTC stood at Rs. 9.50 lakhs, with a placement rate of 98.05%.
KIIT’s School of Biotechnology (KSBT) achieved an 89% placement rate, with over 40 companies visiting the campus. The highest CTC of Rs. 7.00 lakhs was offered by Nestle, while the average CTC was Rs. 5 lakhs. Companies like Elucidata, GSK Pharma, Enzene Biosciences, Intas Pharmaceuticals, and Himalaya Wellness Company offered CTCs of over Rs. 5 lakhs.
The KIIT Law School recorded an 81% placement rate, with 65 law firms and companies participating. The highest CTC of Rs. 21.00 lakhs was offered by DFDL (international), while Rs. 13 lakhs was offered by Bharucha & Partners (Domestic). Several companies like Wadia Ghandy & Co, Ernst & Young LLP, LORM Immigration Services LLP, HDFC Ergo GIC, Royal Sundaram General Insurance provided CTCs ranging from Rs. 6.00 lakhs to Rs. 10.00 lakhs.
In KIIT School of Management (KSRM), 60 companies visited for a batch of 133 students. The highest package of Rs. 9.50 lakhs was offered by Avanti Finance, while Nestle-India, Bigbasket, Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited (BFIL), and others provided CTCs ranging from Rs. 6.00 lakhs to Rs. 10.00 lakhs.
