Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan Postpones KTET Hall Ticket 2019 Release Date To Nov 7; Know Exam Timings

Exam dates for lower primary, upper primary, high school, language teacher and physical education teachers remain unchanged.

Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan KTET Hall Ticket 2019

Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has postponed the release date for Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) November 2019 hall ticket to November 7, 2019. Initially, the admit card was supposed to be released on October 25, 2019.

This new date has been published at ktet.kerala.gov.in. There, the latest message in red says, “KTET November 2019 exam hall ticket will be available from 07/11/2019 onwards”. Other aspects of the exam remain the same. The state level teacher eligibility test will be held on November 16, 2019, and November 24, 2019. The reason behind postponing issuance of hall tickets is unknown. It is not a common occurrence to see Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan delaying KTET exam events.

Once the admit card is released, candidates will have to go to ktet.kerala.gov.in and login with application number, application ID. Category is also expected to be entered for the purpose of login to get hall ticket.

No hard copy of the admit card shall be sent to candidates via post. On the day of the test, candidates need to carry the hard copy of the admit card, photo ID proof and a passport size photo. The full address of the allotted exam centre will be conveyed to the candidates through their hall ticket only. 

Any candidates who does not bear the hall ticket will not be allowed inside the exam centre. The exam will be of a duration of 02 hours 30 minutes for one paper. KTET 1 will be from 10:00 AM to 12.30 PM and KTET 2 is going to be held from 02:00 PM to 4:30 PM on November 16, 2019. KTET 3 will be conducted from 11:00 AM to 01:30 PM, KTET 4 from 02:00 PM to 4:30 PM on November 24, 2019. 

The question paper will consists of 150 objective type questions. Throughout the paper, there will not be any negative marking for incorrect answers. In each of the multiple choice questions, there will 4 options with only one option will be correct. 

The Kerala Teaching Eligibility Test (KTET) is conducted by the Kerela Pareeksha Bhawan for recruitment of school teachers for various levels. The qualified candidates will be posted as teachers in schools affiliated by the state government of Kerala.

The KTET exam is divided into four categories namely, Category I for lower primary teachers, Category II for upper primary teachers, Category III for high school teachers, and Category IV for language and physical education teachers. Those who qualify Category I examination would be eligible to teach in lower primary classes, whereas, those who qualify in Category II and III examinations are eligible for appointment Upper Primary class and High School classes respectively. 

After the exam, Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan will publish answer key. Last time the exam was held on June 22 and 29, and result was announced on July 18, that is within one month of exam. In the previous exam, held for June session, result was announced on August 29, that is exactly two months from second exam date.
