Centralised Admission Cell (CAC) Karnataka has reportedly announced the Karnataka TET 2020 result today ie November 21, 2020, at around 6 pm.
Candidates across the state started sharing the link of sts.karnataka.gov.in/TET/ at the said time. On this page, it says that KARTET result is out.
Two things are important to note – First is that the page says it is “Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET) – 2019 Result”. This does not mean it is old result, because officially the nomenclature of the KARTET exam held on October 04, 2020, is Karnataka TET 2019. That is, it was the exam held against the year 2019 (and that of 2020 is yet to happen).
Second thing is that usually KARTET results are announced at schooleducation.kar.nic.in. This is the official website where insofar all KARTET 2019/2020 details have been announced. So the result of Karnataka TET 2020 was also looked forward to being available here.
Nevertheless the website sts.karnataka.gov.in is also a official website (.gov.in websites belong to official bodies only). Therefore it seems genuinely so that the result is announced. Nevertheless the other website may soon host the link of result too, with notification for result.
KARTET 2020 (officially 2019) registrations were done from January 25 to February 25 earlier this year. Whereas initially the exam was scheduled on April 11, it was postponed. Admit cards were released on September 25. Exam was held on October 04. The answer keys were issued on October 12.
Those who have qualified KARTET paper 1 are eligible to teach classes 1st to 5th. Whereas paper 2 qualifiers are eligible for classes 6th to 8th. Qualifiers can now apply for relevant teaching vacancies in the state.
