CAT 2020 8 Days Left

The last 8 days are left for CAT 2020 exam, and the aspirants must be anxious about D-Day. It is time to get on with the last-minute preparation for the exam. Each section of the exam requires a different approach to prepare. Thus for the qualitative analysis section, the last-minute preparation tips have been discussed here.

Get here previous year question papers of CAT

Quantitative analysis is a section in which the candidates have to strive to get accurate answers in the least possible time. Unlike DILR and VARC, this section can be completed in the least amount of time.

How to complete the QA section in CAT in the least possible time: While practicing for the QA section identify the questions that are based on the direct application for formulas. Solve these questions first. Then move to the questions that are based on the applications of concepts and are not so direct. The same pattern can be followed on the exam day.

Do smart work: In the last week before CAT, for the QA section figure out a smart strategy. Like when it comes to the selection of the questions select all the questions that can be solved easily and select the questions can not be solved at all. Do not waste time on the questions that cannot be solved, rather spend that time on maximum questions that can be solved. This strategy can be applied on the exam day to complete the QA section effectively.

Practice and only practice: QA section can only be mastered by practice. More practice more is the level of solving the questions with speed and accuracy. Candidates should solve 2 past year papers for QA section daily and along with it, practice mock tests. This will lead to an increase in speed, accuracy, and also the time management skills of the candidates.

Revise the concepts and basics: One last time, the candidates must go over the basic concepts and theory. The fresh memory of the mathematical concepts will allow the candidates to do well on the exam day.

Do not chase any new concept: In the last few days please do not start anything new. Starting anything new from the scratch might lead to confusion and lower self-confidence.
