The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board successfully conducted the SSLC (class 10) examinations on April 11. According to Education Minister B.C. Nagesh, the answer keys for the recently conducted exams are going to be released today, i.e. April 12. He also mentioned that the results will be announced in the second week of May. The students who have appeared for the Karnataka SSLC exam can download the soft copies of the answer keys from the official website – sslc.karnataka.gov.in.

The SSLC exam has been completed smoothly.
The answer keys will be posted on the SSLC website tomorrow (i.e. April 12).
The result is set to be announced in the second week of May, 2022.
Supplementary tests are scheduled for the last week of June, 2022.
As of now, the answer keys have not been released on the official websites but it is expected that the same will tentatively be available by 12 Noon. Soon after the release of answer keys, online objections against the same will be received from today itself. After that, the evaluation process will begin in the last week of April. The supplementary examination is going to be held in June, according to a media report by The Hindu.
The SSLC examination has been conducted in a seamless manner and there have been no major issues. However, malpractices were reported in one examination centre and the concerned student was debarred. The first-timers had an average attendance of 98%. Despite that, the absence of repeaters and private candidates was as high as the earlier years. All students followed the same uniform code while appearing for the examination. There were no instances of students testing positive for COVID-19. The Karnataka SSLC examination commenced on March 28 and ended on April 11.
The exact dates for the declaration of results and the conduct of supplementary exams will be announced in due course of time. Students who will fail to qualify for the board exams or could not appear for the same can sit for the supplementary exams. For updates regarding the same, it is advised to keep an eye on the official website.
Absentees More This Year
This year, the number of absent students was much higher. The very first day of the exam saw 20,994 absentees which increased to 25,144 on the third day. Officials say that the large number of absences is due to an increase in private students.
