Karnataka Police Constable Exam Postponed; New Exam Date To Be Announced Soon

Karnataka Police Constable Exam Postponed

Karnataka State Police Constable exam which is scheduled to b held today is postponed. So, all the candidates who are going to appear for the entrance exam will soon receive their new exam date. On November 24, 2018, Central Crime Branch has arrested all the people involved in the leak of question papers. As per the reports, there are total 116 candidates from which 5 are the number of women are detained. The head of scam Kingpin has also arrested by the police last night reports said.

Due to the leak of question papers, the department of Karnataka Police has decided to cancel the exam to be scheduled today. As per the reports, the new exam dates will be announced soon. This is really a big news for the Karnataka state as well as all the job seekers who are going to appear for the police constable exam.

For the post of Civil Police Constable over 1 lakh candidates have registered themselves. Karnataka State police constable exam was scheduled today across the various exam centres of the state. But due to the leak of the question papers, the exam is rescheduled. Though the final date is yet to be released.

While investigation some of the candidates have confirmed that they have purchased question papers from Shivakumar by making the payment of around Rs. 6 lakh and 8 lakh. The investigators said that Shivakumar contacts the candidates of North Karnataka district. For providing the question papers coaching institutes were taken on rent and also mini-buses were arranged for the same.

Police officials confirmed that the question paper received from the students is the same to that of the question paper of the main exam. The question paper seized consists of two parts. One is of 50 marks and the other is of 100 marks. The first part includes the essay writing and the second part includes the multiple choice questions. The candidates aimed to score the maximum marks in the second part i.e the multiple choice questions which is of total 100 marks.

In the month of June, the application form for the same has started. After receiving all the application forms the paper was scheduled by the fourth week of November. The candidates received the admit card for the same. The admit card will remain the same for the exam which will be scheduled the next date soon.
