The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEE) has released the official result date for the Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam. As per the latest reports, the Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2021 is scheduled to be released on July 20, 2021. The board has already released the Registration number for the candidates that can be used to check the final results. The candidates can check out their Registration number by visiting the official website of the board and following the basic steps. The Karnataka PUC exams have been cancelled amid the covid pandemic and the result will be compiled on the basis of the evaluation criteria.
The candidates who have registered for the Karnataka PUC Exam can visit the official website i.e. dpue-exam.karnataka.gov.in. Post this, they are required to find the Karnataka 2nd PUC Registration Number link. Next, the candidates are required to choose the District and College name and hit the submit button. On the next page, the candidate will find his Registration number along with his Name, Parent’s name etc. The Registration number has not been announced before as the exam has been cancelled and the admit card could not be released.
Since the government of Karnataka has cancelled the 2nd PUC examination, hence a new evaluation criterion has been released by the PUC Board. According to these criteria, the final marks will be based on SSLC, I PUC, 2nd PUC and Grace Marks. Further, 45% weightage will be assigned to the SSLC marks, 45% weightage to the I PUC marks, 10% weightage to the 2nd PUC marks and 5% Grace Marks. The repeater candidates have been already promoted to the next class on the basis of the grace marks.
The result of Karnataka 2nd PUC will be announced directly on the official website hence the candidates must keep a tab on the same to stay updated. Once the results have been released by the board the candidates will be issued their mark sheets. The candidates who do not find the result to be satisfactory can choose to reappear for the examination. The timetable of the same will be announced once the result has been released.
According to the statistics, around 8 lakh students appear for the Karnataka 2nd PUC Examination annually. As per the data available, in the year 2020, the pass percentage in the Dakshin Karnataka region was 90.71%, for the Kodagu region, it was 81.56%, Udupi has a pass percentage of 90.71%. In the same way, the pass percentage of Uttar Karnataka, Bangalore, and Chikmaglur 80.97%, 77.56% and 79.11% respectively.
