Jai Prakash University Chhapra, Bihar, has announced part 2 results via jpuresults.in. Results have been announced for TDC part 2 examination 2015-18, and TDC part 2 examination 2016-19. The university finalized both the results last evening by the hon’ble Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Harikesh Singh. All other members of the examination board were also present. This time results have been announced within one month of exam.
As per reports, 47% students have passed in part 2 examination 2015-18, whereas 28% have been promoted, and 25% of the students were absent in the exam. Likewise in the part 2 examination 2016-19, 52% students have passed, 34% promoted. In this session, results of 14% candidates have not been released.
A total of around 45,000 students appeared in the part 2 exams of 2015-18, and 2016-19. JPU held theory exams from August 8, 2019, to September 4, 2019. Practical exams were held until September 28, 2019. Within 27 days of concluding the exams, the results have been published. This time the number of students who have passed is lower than before. For which, students have raised concerns.
Although result was announced last evening, the website jpuresults.in was not opening. The website has started working again a little while ago.
For 2015-18 batch part 2 exams, direct link to check results has been shared as http://jpv.bih.nic.in/TDC-IIEx15.html. Whereas for 2016-19 batch, the link is supposed to be http://www.jpuresults.in/result/d216/index.html. However these links are not visible either on the JPU’s official website jpv.bih.nic.in result page yet, or jpuresults.in which is the official website for all JPU results. Nevertheless students have said that they have been able to get these links only for the result.
To check result, students need to login with their roll number. The next page shows candidate details, along with subject wise marks obtained, maximum marks, and qualifying status. Students can print the same and keep it handy for future reference. In case of issues in the website, you have refresh the page and try again. The website was absolutely not working yesterday, but is working today.
Another important announcement as per reports is that the university will announce part 1 result for 2018-21 batch, after Chhath puja. An important festival of the state, the chhath puja is on November 2, 2019. The exact date for declaration of JPU part 1 result has not been disclosed, however it is expected immediately after the festival. It is further reported that the university has already made all arrangements, and the marksheets are ready for publishing.
Jai Prakash University has 21 constituent colleges, and 11 affiliated colleges. Around 23 more colleges are proposed for affiliation. The varsity offers UG as well as PG programs. Founded in 1990, JPU is a state university with jurisdiction over the Saran division that includes districts Saran, Siwan, and Gopalganj. The faculties of the university include faculty of social sciences, faculty of science, faculty of humanities, faculty of engineering and technology.
