Although this year there was a bit of a speculation regarding CSAB to conduct JEE Main 2018 Counselling. But after the release of counselling schedule by JoSAA, it is confirmed that JEE Main 2018 Counselling, as well as JEE Advanced 2018 Counselling, will be done under the supervision of JoSAA.

However, in the coming years, National Testing Agency (NTA) may be the conducting body of JEE Main. Thus whether or not the counselling body will change for the same is yet not clear. JEE Advanced will be under the control of one of the IITs. Change in conducting body if JEE Advanced in coming years will not be seen. Although, same is not the case for JEE Main. The entire process may change with a new conducting body in action. Until further notice, the situation right now is quite unclear.
