Bihar Secondary Education Board (BSEB) has announced the Class 12th results. The result of class 12 has been released today i.e. June 06, 2018. It was declared around 4:25 PM on official website i.e. biharboard.ac.in . Earlier the result was supposed to be declared on June 7, 2018. But due to the beginning of Delhi University admission, it is released today. Speculations regarding the date were completely put to an end when board official released the result on a press conference. All the streams result got released today at the same time only.
The stream with the highest pass percentage commerce with 82%. The lowest pass percentage is for the Arts stream, 42%. There is an increment of 15% in Science stream’s pass percentage. This year, the overall pass percentage of Science stream is 45%. The overall pass percentage has increased by 17% and is 52.24%.
Students can access the result through the official website. After visiting the official website, click on the link which displays the result. Enter the credentials in the login window which have appeared on the screen. Submit them and your result will appear on the screen. Check the result carefully. At last take out the printout of the result for future perspective.
In order to avoid the result delay due to some technical glitches on the official website, check your result through other websites. Other third party websites also have displayed the result such as examresults.net, bihar.indiaresults.com.
The students can also get their result through SMS service provided by the board. They have to type BSEB12S/A/C (space) Roll Number and then send it to 56263. Their result will be sent on the registered mobile numbers.
This year BSEB conducted the examination from February 6. The examinations concluded on February 16, 2018. Practical examinations commenced from January 11 and ended on January 25, 2018. Nearly 12 lakh students appeared for the examinations. Due to a large number of students, the examination was held at 1,384 centers. As reported by students examinations were conducted very well.
Last year i.e. in 2017 the board declared the result on May 30, 2017. Alike last year, this year the board has failed to release the result early. Around 12.40 lakh students appeared for the examination in 2017. Only 4.37 lakh or 35.25 managed to pass the examination. The outcome was the result of strict checking.
BSEB is responsible for conducting the secondary and senior secondary examination in the state. The statutory body came into existence in 1952. It is headquartered in Patna. It conducts examination twice a year i.e. February-March and supplementary exams in August-September.
